Temple Trips and Mountain Days! October 9-15

The Album of my soul: Happy Accidents by Jamie Lawson. It is all I have listened to!

Best Moment: I was sitting dreading going to a class when I receive an email telling me that a book I have waited two months for is finally ready for me to read! AH! I have time to just sit and read...right?

What would I do without Alayna? I seriously have no motivation this semester. I will sit and do nothing... So Alayna will ask me how long I want to study and then she will text me reminders of how long I have over and over again. It is actually super helpful!

Tuesday was Service Day. It was one of the most peaceful and spiritual times I have had in the Temple. I drove and had Alayna and Sarah Foster in my car. It was so fun! We jammed out and ate snacks and of course, you can't have a temple trip without CAFE RIO!

We got back and before I could buckle down on my homework I needed to take a walk! It had been too long in the car. So Alayna and I went on a very nice walk through campus. We seriously have been having the most amazing weather!

Wednesday was a busy day and I came home to my bed made! It was so nice of Alayna! Its amazing that such a little thing helped me feel more organized and ready to conquer the things I needed to get done.

The rest of the week continued on... not too much to report!

I did discover the most glorious thing ever. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip muffins from Jonzzeys!

But Saturday was Mountain Days! These is a fun fall festival in town. There are booths set up and music. I texted my friend Emma and we had a splendid time enjoying the old folks band, eating all the fried food you could imagine, and talking about life!

We ended up going to the Women's Volleyball game, Women's Soccer game, and Men's Soccer game.

One of the best parts? I opened the door and Emma and I were wearing basically the exact same shirt!!! It was awesome! We knew that whole day was meant to be.

I love Sundays! I sat, read, and finished my book on my porch all afternoon and evening. It was awesome! It was too pretty outside to pass up the chance to just sit and enjoy. I then decided to go up to the last few minutes of Hymns on a Hill. It ended up being really good and I just sat and talked and laughed with Kaipo and Colby for 20 minutes :) I love good kind souls.
