I never understand how life just gets busier and busier as the semester goes on.
Tuesday Heidi, Kaylee and I were invited over to the Krites house for dinner and to celebrate Jeremiah's birthday. We had homemade Barbecued pizza. It was so yummy! And then Alison made a delicious chocolate birthday cake!
I think the highlight was when Alison gave us those birthday whistle things. We went CRAZY!
In Institute we were talking about homes and the story of the Prodigal son. There was a quote shared by Robert D. Hales and the end of it said, "I can also imagine his son knowing he could come home because he knew the kind of home that was awaiting him." I am very grateful that my parents, and our family have establish a safe place. A home that I love to come home to! I am very grateful!
When I am home, please ask me to show you pictures of my adorable children.
That moment when you only have 50 minutes of free time to see your friend, so you hurry and pick her up, go to Sheetz for hot chocolate, talk, and race back for my RA meeting!
Love you Alayna!
In American Literature we were reading E.E. Cummings. Shannon drew a delightful picture representing the balloon man in one of his poems.
But wait. Here is my favorite E.E. Cummings lines,
"When the World is Puddle-Wonderful."
Yes.
Puddle-Wonderful you may ask?
If you understand, please let me know.
But it called for an Instagram caption and a funny photo of myself and the delightful Shannon Maynes.
Sometimes I just lie on my bed and enjoy my view.
I'm definitely not complaining.
Sarah and I took a trip to Walmart and we were greeted with a great surprise.
CHRISTMAS!
Whoever decided to turn these pillars into candy canes should win an award.
Are you ever faced with those major life decisions? You think you make up your mind but then you go back and think about it for 40 minutes. Then you ask people their opinion.
I experienced one of these major decisions at Walmart.
The answer was Yes.
Yes. Buy the Sheep Pajamas.
It was definitely the right decision.
Look at the Moon! It looks like one of the street lights!
