Last two weeks of School! April 25-May 5

Starting to pack up was really hard. Its hard when one room is your home for 9 months. There are so many memories and it just feels safe. Many laughs were shared and tears shed in room 306 this year.

We took up studying in the library during finals week. Jared was sitting a few tables away from us and paper airplanes seemed like the most logical course of action.

My last day of spanish was a party. You could make food for extra credit. It was delicious.

Rhapsody is how I stream basically all my music, and sometimes they send me little reminders or updates. They obviously don't know me at all. (This came after I had just acted out all of act one)

After our final class of the semester!

Shenanigans show.

Its no secret I love the rain... oh wait.. you didn't know?
I LOVE THE RAIN.
And something about the rain in Virginia is magical.

We had our last loft RA meeting, then Kadee and I sat up and talked till 1am. I am going to miss that next year.

I had a rough day that day and I was so grateful for random acts of kindness.
-Cody coming and giving me a hug because he noticed I was upset
-Jared telling me funny stories for half an hour to distract me
-Kadee talking to me
-And then the cute Stiles sisters leaving one of my favorite candies on my door!
God works through people.

April 29th is a day that will go down in history. Kadee, Adam and I had been planning a piñata party all semester. April 29th, it finally happened. He was quite a cute piñata and his name was Paco.

We smashed that piñata and laughed and laughed! Then we carried around its dismantled body and passed out the rest of the candy to all the students who were having breakdowns over their first finals.
It was awesome.

Good ol' Brady

I had to write two ten page papers this semester. The one for my Dante class was the hardest paper I have ever had to write, but I was proud of it in the end! The second one was for Jane Austen. I wrote that essay pretty fast and quite enjoyed writing it!

My first final was Dante and it was killer. The next one was Macroeconomics. President Brotherson made his famous chocolate cake and it was the best thing ever.

More rain!

Kadee. This girl has changed my life!

We threw Anna a surprise party for her birthday. It was so good to see how shocked she was! She serves everyone all the time so it was fun to serve her.

There was also delicious food!

We took a break one day to get snow cones from the famous shack in town. I got mango which was delicious! Let's just say... we didn't stop laughing.

Checking my girls out while also worry about finals was a little overwhelming. I was trying to pack and I stressed myself out way more than I should have. I was running around crazy!

Then it was my birthday!!!

I had to wake up and sing at commencement and then keep checking girls out of their rooms the rest of the night.

Then John John and I went with Jared and Joanna to dinner and the drive in movie where we saw the new Captain America and Jungle Book. It was very rainy and a little cold but a super fun night!

It was a very long and stressful last two weeks of school. I feel like it flew by and everything happened in a blur. How is it that I am done with my Sophomore year!?

A whole post on my feelings and lessons from this year is on its way :)
