General Conference March 28-April 3

I was so productive this week. It was crazy.

With Easter last week it was only natural for our FHE activity to be a big Easter Egg hunt. They set up eggs all outside (some in very sneaky places). Each egg had delicious candy and a number on it. We had a drawing at the end for some fun prizes and I definitely won the cookies and cream bunny.

Kaylee sent me a picture of these lovely books.

Monday was crazy and I was running around with my head half off my body. I went to classes, took a take home test, practiced a song, went to FHE, and then I auditioned for the summer musical! It was the worst audition of my entire life and after it was over I could not stop laughing!!! But... I got a call back. I believe this is to do with the fact that the professor knows I can act because I was in his Acting 1 class. The callbacks went well!

Tuesday I got a whole project done for my business class. It felt so good to finish it!

I have a few girls in my hall on the softball team and they wanted me to come watch their game. So Kaylee and I went to the end of their game and I was so proud of them!

This was them trying to teach me how to be a thug.

Kaylee and I continued on my productive streak and went to the library after the game. At about 10:30 I was starving! So off we went to Walmart. I was very grateful for the food.

We had a very fun RA meeting Thursday. We talked a lot about check out. At one point Jordan said, "I can't believe we are talking about this!" It made me so sad to think that this crazy year is almost done! It amazes me.

Friday we had the prettiest weather. It was a little chilly but it was cloudy and rainy and I just loved it!!! The pictures do not do it justice!

One of our favorite treats is a banana covered in peanut butter or Nutella (or both), with fruit and nuts and whatever else we decide. It is my favorite! My friend made me this one.

Friday night I went to the Opera Workshop performance. It was awesome! So so funny!

Saturday was conference! I love conference! First session Saturday was awesome! Everything was great, but I really needed that first session. Also, priesthood session dominated!

Remember last week when Alayna and I went to Goodwill? Well I bought a dress that had a lot of potential. My amazing friend Daphne fixed it for me this week and it looks awesome!

I really want this chair.

Sunday was very pretty! I went on a walk with John John before first session and after dinner Kaylee and I went for a walk. It was one of the most entertaining walks ever.

I am so grateful for General Conference. I love that I can sustain the latter day prophets and apostles. I noticed a theme this conference that I really needed to hear. Almost every talk reminded us of our identity, that we are children of Heavenly Parents. Then they reminded us that Christ is so close to each of us. He is holding us up, reaching out and standing right by our side. I am so grateful to have those reminders. Those two facts alone, give me strength to conquer anything.
