Realizing Its Just You May 9-16

I had a semester full of giving.

My heart was divided among friends and my sweet girls. I did everything for them and I WANTED to do everything for them!

When I got back from the weekend with my parents... It was just me.

I woke up the next morning not being able to move. My back was killing me and all I could do was cry and lie on the floor. I was very grateful for Alayna offering to help, Heidi bringing me ginger ail and gatorade, and John-John for bringing me crackers for dinner.

I had to be out of my room technically before I went to see my parents.. but Cody and Reva were so kind to let me stay an extra few days! The day after I was sick, I forced myself to get up and miraculously clean and move out of my room. I was able to move straight into my cute house i'm staying in for the summer. Its called the Nauvoo house. The owner is from that area and there is even a piece from the Nauvoo temple outside our front door.

There wasn't very many people here that first week in between when classes ended and started again. Kaylee was back home so I had the house to myself for most of the week. I did manage to find some exciting things to do.

Started and quit a job

Made cookies

Hung out

Started going to rehearsals for the musical

Went to a game night

Ate out

Went to an antique store (Which was awesome!)

Went to Boxerwood Garden

Sort of helped pack a car and storage unit. I watched more than help.

Helped move a room around in Reva and Cody's new apartment

Was taken to see some sheep!

Nothing too crazy. But I spent a lot of time with John John and friends from the show which was a lot of fun!

It is a weird transition. I really don't know how to adjust!

Im grateful for the gospel and for family.

Here's to the summer!

Exploring May 6-9

I dream about traveling everyday.

I love thinking about the cities I've been to and which ones I am craving to return to.

I love discovering new places and adding them to my ever growing list of adventures.

My parents informed me that they would be in North Carolina the day after Commencement. I was frantically trying to pack and clean and do everything possible, but going to go see them and explore a new city was a very good idea. (besides the fact that I was indeed extremely stressed out).

I drove and met my mom in North Carolina where we went to dinner and then picked up dad.

Bright and early the next morning we headed to South Carolina. We dropped off my mom at her meeting and Dad and I were off to start exploring Charleston.

I loved seeing all the beautiful houses and being in the south! For dinner we found this cute cafe. Our food was delicious and the dessert even better!! Such a fun experience.

Our next stop was Savannah Georgia. This place is absolutely adorable. Its a quaint town, with tons of parks, AMAZING architecture, and a fun history. We decided to take one of the trolley tours where character actors hopped on and off. It was so much fun!

If I run away, you know where I went.

It was a very fast trip but was very fun. It made me have the travel bug and want to go on an adventure this summer!

So... any takers?

Thanks Mom and Dad! Love you tons!
